Microsoft to develop Bing

Microsoft stated its commitment to expand to develop Bing, by way of opening up to partners and developers. This was done to their property search engines have a more diverse taste.

Microsoft has agreed to implement third-party model. This is done so that the content and application developers can work together with Microsoft to enrich the facilities owned by Bing. In this way, of course, expected to improve their stagnant position, and still lost to Google.

Microsoft wants to provide an open strategy to follow current market trends. Took a third-party developers will surely make a lot more prepared Bing in competition, as quoted by The Register, Thursday (10/12/2009).

Microsoft Presents Halo on the Xbox Waypoint

After a long-awaited, Microsoft finally launched the Halo Waypoint for Xbox Live members.

Hello Waypoint is an online portal intended to serve all things related to Halo animated series Legends.

Quoted from TG Daily, Saturday (7/11/2009), the portal is offering a preview episode of Legends Hello intact, complete with trailers, interviews with the developers of applications, screenshots and exclusive video footage.

“Waypoint is a place where fans of Halo can share and get the latest information and other interesting content through their gaming devices,” said one developer named Frank O’Connor.

Norton 360 Version 4.0 In Beta

Symantec Corp. last week announced the presence of Norton 360 version 4.0 beta. Not much different from Norton Internet Security 2010 and Norton AntiVirus 2010, the latest version of Norton 360 is already using the technology “Quorum”. Norton 360 Beta has also been designed to work well with Windows 7.

Norton 360 Beta get-feature several additional features, like Norton Insight, recovery tools, and a new upgrade of Norton Identity Safe. Norton 360 beta has also been completed by SONAR technology which claimed 2 be better able to detect more new threats.

Norton 360 can also display a beta Norton Safe Web, a website rating service whose job it marks the search results on Google, Yahoo! and Bing-rated security.

Microsoft Introduces 4 ‘New Frieds’ Windows 7

With the launch of Microsoft’s latest operating system, Windows 7, a company owned by Bill Gates launched a range of hardware support features in Windows 7.

Rows of these hardware including Comfort Desktop Wireless 5000, Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000, LifeCam Cinema, and the Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000.

According to the PR Manager of Microsoft Hardware Southeast Asia, Ian Tan, during the last 26 years, Microsoft Hardware has to innovate to provide the best experience in using computers.

“All the new products we introduce, compatible with Windows 7,” said Ian at the launch of Microsoft’s line of hardware products in Hotel Sultan, Jakarta, Wednesday (4/11/2009).
